Congratulations to Janet Garcia on her receipt of the 2015-2016 Rutgers University Dissertation Fellowship. Janet’s dissertation focuses on the on the navigation of motherhood for formerly incarcerated mothers.

Allison Cotton has also been promoted to Full Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Congrats Allison!

Please join us in congratulating Stephanie Bonnes and Ntasha Bhardwaj. Stephanie Bonnes has been awarded “The Larry J. Siegel Graduate Fellowship for the Study of Gender and Crime”. Her project is titled: Sexual Harassment and Abuse in the U.S. Military. Ntasha Bhardwaj has been awarded “The Feminist Criminology Graduate Research Scholarship”. Her project is titled: Women’s Pathways to Incarceration in India: Life-Event and Narrative Perspectives.
