DWC Feminist Criminology in Theory and Action Workshop

This workshop provides participants with an informal, supportive environment for sharing ideas and strategies to link scholarly research with social change. You need not be a DWC member to attend – all are welcome!

Wednesday, November 16th
DWC Awards Ceremony 8:00pm-8:30pm
DWC Social 8:30pm-10:00pm
Barcadia Bar & Grill (off-site)

We begin with our awards ceremony recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of DWC members, then follow up the festivities with our annual social event! We hope you will join us for an evening of celebrating, networking, and socializing. Tickets are available in advance during ASC Annual Meeting registration or at the door, and are required for entry.

Thursday, November 17th
DWC Business Meeting
7:30am-9:20am River, Riverside Complex

Our annual business meeting is open to all who are interested in learning about the operations of the DWC. New members attending for the first time are eligible to receive a book authored by a DWC member in our New Member Book Raffle! Get a sneak preview of the available books and learn more about the raffle by visiting the DWC outreach table.

DWC Journal Reviewer Training Workshop
9:30am-12:20pm Kabacoff, Riverside Complex

This workshop is designed to offer tips, strategies, and helpful information for graduate students, junior scholars, or others who are new to the experience of reviewing manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals. You need not be a DWC member to attend – all are welcome!
