Introduction: The Division on Women & Crime (DWC) promotes research and theoretical development on gender, crime and justice. The DWC’s Pace Kaur Bahl Travel Grant for Women in Law Enforcement facilitates scholarship aligned with DWC’s larger goals by encouraging women in law enforcement to share their real world challenges encountered in the delivery of justice to women and girls through paper and poster presentations, or roundtable or lightning talk at the American Society of Criminology (ASC) annual conference. Engagement of women law enforcement practitioners in the American Society of Criminology will bring academics and practitioners together in advancing feminist criminology. The Pace Kaur Bahl Travel Grant for Women in Law Enforcement is funded by a generous donation from Dr. Prit Kaur, Associate Professor
of Criminal Justice, College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Auburn University at Montgomery, Alabama, USA. The travel grant is named after three powerful women who have provided economic, moral and social support by helping women and girls in critical life situations and teaching them survival skills. Their lifelong efforts and commitment to ensure justice for women and girls are in line with DWC’s overarching mission.
